At Baxilancer, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the Baxilancer mobile application (available on iOS and Android) and our website (baxilancer.ovh).
2. Data Collection and Usage
Account Information
To use the application, you must register using your email address. We use your email to authenticate you and sync your data securely to the cloud.
Location Tracking (Background Location)
Our application uses "Background Location Tracking" features. This is strictly used to provide the core functionality of the app: automatic time tracking when you arrive at or leave a designated project location (geo-fencing).
- Usage: We detect entry and exit events to start and stop timers automatically.
- Privacy: We do not track your location history continuously, nor do we sell your location data to third parties. Your location data is used solely for the purpose of personal time tracking.
Camera Usage
The app requires access to your device's Camera.
- Usage: The camera is used to let you scan and photograph physical receipts for expense tracking.
- Storage: These images are uploaded to our secure cloud storage so you can access them across your devices. We do not inspect these images for advertising purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may use third-party service providers (such as Google Firebase) to help us operate our business and the application, solely for infrastructure purposes (database, authentication, storage).
4. Data Security
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
5. Account Deletion
If you no longer wish to use the application, you can delete your account by navigating to Settings → Profile → Account Settings → Danger Zone and selecting the Delete Account option.
Please note: This action permanently deletes your account and all associated data and cannot be undone.
If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it directly in your device settings or the respective app store provider (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store) where the purchase was made. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your active subscriptions.
